Topping from the bottom
I decided to wear the chastity belt for the day. It always makes me a little restless and well, desperate. The day at work with the key at home, and hopefully the chance of some messing around with the wife this evening, especially if she’ll take hold of the key.
We have plenty of other locking toys, hopefully some of those might see the light of day tonight too.
But all of this is topping from the bottom. She doesn’t get very creative, and she is very easy to persuade to let me out, part of wearing it is the unknown timing and actions on her part, but I seem to be pretty good at predicting, or worse still she’ll ask what I’d like all the time.
I think I need to find a way to get her more creative. Chastity and bondage generally can be a lot of fun, just need to figure out how to get her back in the mood for it.
We will see how we go this evening, I will leave the key where she puts her car keys, if she takes it great, if she doesn’t guess it’s a not tonight thing and it won’t inspire me to wear through the night.
Here’s hoping *rattles lock*
One post leads to another, The enviroment
I got an email from a friend about the weather post which lead to environmentalism.
The American nation gets a lot of criticism for its environmental performance, and quite often rightly so. The political system is built around capital growth rather than any sort of consideration of the surroundings. (Hmmm, that applies to driving here too, but thats another post)
Having said that I do get very frustrated about the implications that the individuals are the same as corporate America, and have the same stigma attached.
I am fortunate to have a relatively new home. I didn’t build it to be energy efficient, but a combination of choices and building codes now mean it is. In addition, as I equip the home it has become more energy efficient. With the exception of a couple of dimming lights and under cabinet lights, the house has all compact florescent bulbs, rated at 1/4 the power of the incandescent equivalent.
Not only are these lights more efficient but they are also great in the garage.
I drive a pickup truck, on a daily basis, it only does 17 miles to the gallon. But, when I do need to get wood from the DIY store, pull the caravan, bring home a new appliance it causes considerably less pollution than the big, badly maintained lorry that would have to do the delivery job.
TV’s are another example. LCD seem like a luxury, but use considerably less energy than their CRT equivalents. In fact in the office I run we don’t have any CRTs because they are to power hungry and create to much heat.
All in all, my new house that was built with a little bit of thought generates utility bills of 1/3 of that of a friends house that is 15 years old and half the size.
I guess my point is, lets embarrass the big business who ignore their environmental responsibilities, and applaud the people, one at a time that do make a change. I am one, I am sure their are many millions of us round the world!
The Weather
“Whoa, these enviromental changes, these are the coldest winters I’ve seen”
“It must be global warming, I never remember it being this hot in the summer”
Has the environment really changed where you live or is just the cyclic nature of weather?
I live in a moderate climate area. It gets hot in the summer, but not that hot, it gets cold in the winter, but not that cold.
I keep hearing about these changing winters and summers though and did a little research. The weather really hasn’t changed very much over the last few decades. If you stay out of cities as their temperature readings are affected by the buildings and cars, the average air temperature are pretty static . The Rain fall is pretty static too, the droughts we see are nothing to do with changes in rainfall, just that there are more people, being less careful with the water they use.
The only thing of note that I could find was that weather now seems to change a lot faster, that may be a feature of the way pollution has changed from heavy soot and ash keeping the air insulated vs. carbon emissions. It used to get cold and stay cold till it warmed up and stayed warm. There are very few instances decades ago, like the ones we had last week, of snow one day and 65 degrees Fahrenheit the next.
Probably all this talk is just peoples predilection for always having to chat about the weather
All I know is that I’d like the weather to get warm enough at the weekends so I can go back out camping and get back out on the river with the kayak without the worry of hypothermia.
Wine
I think I probably drink to much, but I like my wine.
Almost all wine is good, Red is better, white needs to be with food or well chilled, Rose is the last desperate attempted before I have to go find some Killians (the beer post is for another day)
So I thought I’d post a few links to some well priced (I am cheap) wines that I like
Red Truck – Easy to drink, Californian blend. Usually retails for about $11 a bottle
Macmurray Pinot Noir – Having watched Oz and James Big Wine Adventure, it turns out that certain grapes grown in California benefit from being on the right side of the mountain for the cooling mists and day time temperatures. Pinot Noir is one of those wines, this version really does taste better than a lot of other Pinot Noir’s from California that I’ve tasted. Depending on the sales, this retails for $12-$16 a bottle.
Zen of Zin – This is another wine found from Oz and James show. It is a little to heavy to have as a casual bottle in the evening, it always gives me a headache in the morning. But it tastes good and always slides down to well. Retails about $10 a bottle.
If you have any wine recommendations please let me know, I always like to try new wines.
Families
They have finally left!
My family lives several thousand miles away, I wonder sometimes if this is for the better or for the worse.
When they come and stay it is usually for a couple of weeks. During this time the mood goes from cordial to aggressive. My family and I have nothing in common.
My brother still lives with my parents, despite being a few years older than me, I have been married now for 10 years, away from home a few more. He is a carbon copy of my parents which I think is ruining his chances of getting a real personality.
My parents drive me nuts. They argue, all the time, if they hadn’t been doing it for 35+ years I would think that they are heading for a divorce, but they carry on.
While they are here we have to be on tender hooks, no swearing, no mess, no wandering around in our underwear. The stress level rises every day (a couple of trips ago it was enough to give me panic attacks). The last day they were here hardly anyone talked, it had gotten that bad.
I see a lot of people very happy with their families, they love to see them.
Are these people weird or am I?
Have I created this emotional distance by adding physical distance or have I saved my self from the drudgery they have?
Do they just not get the bigger picture of the world or do they just not see the bigger picture exists?
Anyway….. Free again, another few months till we see them again.
Why it has begun
I have another blog, on LiveJournal. It is linked to many of my friends who may or may not see eye to eye with some of the things I think or do, each of them knows a piece of me, no one the whole.
So I have decided to start another blog. This one can be entirely me, people who read it can judge for themselves who I am, normal or freak (probably more of the later then the former).
There may be some adult content, although probably not much so people shouldn’t get to offended.
So anyways, read on, if you find anything interesting please comment, I am always interested in talking to new people.
The Beginning
This is the beginning of a new blog, perhaps more personal, we will have to wait and see.
