So I have posted for a while, life has been hectic, traveling, working and not sleeping.

Apparently my tiredness is to do with sleep apnea, will be going in for tests soon and hopefully they will have some solutions so I don’t wake up tired and always have to sleep when I stop. That said on with a rant.

I was reading on Slashdot about how a US senator is urging Microsoft to fire it’s H1B visa (that’s immigrant) employees before it’s US one, that means I pay all the same taxes as you do without the benefit of voting.

First of all I’d like to make it clear that I am a British Citizen working in the US, but not on an H1B visa.

Second and more importantly…. If an American built a TV, it would be a piece of junk and cost $5000, if someone from Japan builds it, it costs $1000 and lasts for 10 years. So the American consumer goes out and buys the $1000 and then complains that foreigners are taking their jobs.

Working in Washington DC a few years back you notice all of the cleaning staff are Hispanic, why is this? because there are no white or black people there who want to do the job for the money.

I was once told “This world has a job for everyone, we need dustman as well as lawyers, presidents and painters”

Why can’t politicians and people get their heads round global economics. If people want to have their bargain priced commodities they have to allow for the fact that bargain rates are paid for labour and that may not be them. If they want to earn more, become more useful or compete with the global economics.

In terms of American there is this very patriotic notion of Americans first all other nations second (everyone seems to forget that modern Americans are all immigrants anyway). But no one deals more locally, No one ever says Hire from this town before looking outside the town, hire from this state before looking outside the state, but they do say hire in the country before outside. I’m damn sure that the rates for someone in Alabama is less than those in Seattle, perhaps Microsoft should outsource there and see what that does to the economy

Part of the stink is coming from the fact that the government actually wrote the H1B rules right, they said you can not discriminate against H1B visa employees versus regular employees, so they are having to back peddle.

As a company owner I have hired my fair share of employees and I have to say the biggest problem with American employees is the expectation of everything is there for them. I had one whose “S” key on their keyboard didn’t work, they didn’t tell anyone, just sat there waiting for someone to fix it for them and read a book. Another non-American employee (Actually Naturalized but raised elsewhere) got stuck and no one was around to help, so got out the brush and swept up the area and wiped down the kitchen.

Who do you think got more respect round the office and who do you think survived a round of firings?

So my suggestion is, America, either get with the fact that Global Capitalism is here and work with it. Or close your borders and see how long you can survive without your ipod, Toyota and Toaster that will now cost 20 times more!

I have been trying to work out, Why Chastity? Why Lingerie? Why do it?

I’ve been having some ups and downs recently where I really haven’t felt like messing about. During this time I have been wondering why I bother. It also seems so stupid and childish, but then again I am back in the mood now and am considering answering the questions.

I am going to make some sweeping generalizations here. Please don’t comment just to say here is the exception, but I would welcome other peoples opinions on the subjects.

Most people involved in Chastity are men, Why is that?

On all the boards and chat rooms I frequent, most of the people that have involvement in chastity are men. Either they are the ones suggesting or getting a belt for their woman, they are men who want the experience and persuade their woman to lock them up, or they are gay men.

I have a couple of ideas on this, the first is that men masturbating is considered socially bad. This means that society puts the emphasis on men stopping what they are doing, hence the chastity craze, men that feel they shouldn’t possibly think that if they shouldn’t why should their woman.

Next there is the bondage aspect. There are people out there who use this as part of a bondage routine, but once again there seem to be a lot more men looking for a woman to take the key to keep them locked, which in this context is at the very least topping from the bottom?

There are the “I don’t trust my spouse to not screw around” group. If this is the only way to trust surely there are bigger issues?

In my case, I think I like the belt for 2 reasons, the first is the feeling of controlled, I know that a phone call and I could find out where the key is hidden, but the challenge is to not do that, the challenge to get as horny as possibly without relief, and they takes someone elses help.

The second reason is also about being controlled. When we mess around in the bedroom (or anywhere else ) I generally get pushy, this is a very easy way for her to get pushy back and I can’t do any thing about it, except end the game, it takes some of the burden off her about how to get me to try something, and helps me remember to not be so pushy.

The other thought I am contemplating in sissyfication, or man wearing panties.

I find this so interesting too, Normally I wear briefs as my underwear of choice, but mens underwear is not very creative. Shorts, Briefs, Thongs, that’s about it.

I can see the appeal of women wanting their men in something different, something slinkier. I also find on boards and chat rooms that generally there are more women who start this with their men than vice versa. Perhaps this is something that is socially acceptable?

If women are allowed to wear men’s clothes, why shouldn’t men wear womens underwear. The problem comes with the mechanics, there is just no where to put your balls LOL.

So after this miandering waffle, as I sit here locked in the belt, with the body stocking locked on the inside of the belt…..

I think for me it is a reminder of playing, it is trying to get me worked up, it is foreplay. If my wife decides she’d like to see me in lace panties for the day, that’s cool, it is good she wants to pay attention to my underwear . By the time I get home from work I will be horny, she will be wanting to grope my ass and be ready to go, and there is a 50/50 chance that by the end of the day I will still be all over her, wanting out, as she lays there in her afterglow deciding if this would be a good way to spend tomorrow too.

I really would like to know what others think, so comments please?

I was never very good a biology when I was at school, even the organic Chemistry in my A-Level was a little beyond me, but antibiotics, pain killers and drugs actions I do not have a clue on.

When I had kidney stone surgery they gave me an antibiotic specifically for that region, it even made my pee glow. How did it know to go there? How did it know what to do? How did the pain killer they give me only stop the pain there and not in my head?

The reason this comes to mind is I have a horrible cold. Running nose, aching, tired, coughing up my lungs, can’t breath, you know the type.

They are fairly common symptoms, and are caused by another variation of a cold virus I would imagine, which makes it virtually impossible to immunize against or treat.

They symptoms (as I understand it) are my bodies way of fighting this virus. Running nose to clear out the waste system. Tired because my body is busy fighting. But my question is…… Is this all necessary?

Does my body have to do all these things to beat the virus, or can medical science find a way to remove these symptoms from me so I do not have to suffer?

Instead of targeting the Thingy-itis virus, can’t I just take a pill that will stop my nose getting bunged up, stop my body aching, stop my lungs hurting and just leave my body’s immune system to fix it?

This cold has one more symptom, fortunately it effects other people rather than me, but I am really grumpy, and short tempered. Is there a cure for that out there?

Customer service has evaporated from companies that hold any sort of monopoly.

I came to realise this in Liverpool Street station in London.

I had advanced booked 2 tickets from Liverpool Street station out to where I (thought I) needed to be. When I actually got to London I realised I needed to travel further. I went into the ticket office, handed them my confirmation print out and asked to upgrade the ticket.

I was told by the customer service guy that this ticket was for Malborough (No where near London) and I would have to buy the full ticket and dispute this with the booking agent. This took me back a bit and while I asked him to check the booking again his supervisor came out and told me this was my problem, buy the ticket. I asked if they had a contact number I could call since I booked through them, he swung the screen from the customer service rep round so hard it bounced off the partition between me and him and yelled “Your ticket is wrong, buy the f*ing ticket or get out of the ticket office”.

I took one look at the screen and saw they had mistyped my confirmation number. At this point the supervisor lost it, causing me to lose it, and the customer service rep joined in too. I just took my ticket and stormed out, and a very helpful conductor on the train helped me out.

All over the London transport system there are notices about how verbal abuse is still abuse. I don’t think the customer service supervisor got that memo though.

Normally with this level of service I would look into using and alternate providor, but if I want to get to where I am going I have to go through Liverpool Street station and have no choice but to use them. It just seems like now they are in, they just don’t care.

I wrote them a letter complaining.

On returning to the US I experienced the same thing, this time with the local Turnpike. I have an EZPass so I don’t have to stop for the tolls. As I came off the turnpike though someone cut me off and put me into EZPass lane that is for cash AND EZPass. I pull up and hand the guy the pass, he looked at it and said “This is out of state it doesn’t work”. EZPass works up and down the East coast. I explained that it worked twice earlier, once on a bridge and once to Enter the turnpike. He said “It doesn’t work” I am going to charge you the full cost of a lost ticket.

Now I start to lose it with him, I say “Sure, but can you give my your Name and ID number so when I write to complain about this I can be clear on what happened”, He said “Hell no, I’m not going to give you that, $15″ (the fee). I was totally taken a back by this, but as with big business, they arn’t going anywhere so why bother with customer service, and if I want to get from City to City without having to go through every small town, I have no choice but to use their service.

There needs to be some way to make these monopolied companies accountable. When they get 5 year deals to run single services they can not ignore customer service for the first 4 years and only try to be nice when up for renewal.

I think every public service run by companies like this should be forced to have at least 2 or 3 providors so we can have a choice and vote with our dollars.

It’s been a long time since the last post, lots to put in here

Been on vacation to England, spent some time being touristy round London. I can highly recommend the London buses.

Every time I have been round London in the past I have used the Tube, while it is quick and simple it didn’t seem to go where I needed it to this trip. For £3 you can buy a ticket that runs you all day and you can see all the sights. The routes are easy, the map of the system is easy and the buses run every 5-6 minutes right though till about midnight.

On this trip I noticed the split in fashion from the US to UK. The fashion where I am in the US is all baggy non-fitting clothes. In London, especially with the women it is tighter clothes. I like the look, all the tight buts and low cut cleavege is very nice to see just wandering around town. In the evening though, some of the clothing got far more outrageous, some of it didn’t leave much to the imagination, but no one seemed to bat an eye at it. I was very happy to see it

Another observation from this trip is, for the first time since I left the country I really felt disconnected from the way of life. I really was a tourist. I didn’t quite have the right pub ettiquette, had to really think about the money and small things like that.

I was even disconnected from my family, I just didn’t fit in. They (My Mum, Dad and Brother) function as a single family unit which I just couldn’t seem to work out. Looking around it seems like a lot of families were the same way. I just seem to have made my family with my wife.

Now I am back I brought back the plague or something similar. Been sick and losing weight. According to the doc I am 15lbs lighter than I was a month ago. As a result I am trying the steel chastity belt again. It seems to fit a little looser but I don’t know if that is good or bad. I am going to try and get the wife to play some but I think she has caught what I have so that may not happen.

I have been looking at the Reinholds belt again. It is expensive with the current exchange rates, but still tempting. Where is a lottery win when you want one?

This US Presidential elction is going to be a circus. It seems to me that each party is trying to run candidates JUST for their percieved racial demographic and not for anything they stand for.

For the Republicans we have an, Older, reputable, man with a war record. He has then picked a running mate who wants people to drill in her back yard, and has a daughter who is potentially going to be a single mom.

On the Democratic side, we have a black, well to do, educated man and a middle of the road white politian.

On the independent ticket? Where is the one-armed, transgendered, elephant trainer?

I am really struggling to hear the policies through the circus, but is that really important, the chances of any of those policies being implemented when they reach the White House is pretty small, partly because they are just political bantering and partly because there is such a mess to clean up from with the current administration.

What I do notice though and I do understand that it is just some clever campaigning, is that Obama seems to be happy to come out and commit to an idea, policy or plan and state his intentions. McCain always seems to be playing catch-up. He is always saying why Obama is wrong and how he is going to do it his way, but he is never the first to put his plans out there.

Is that really a group of people you want in the White House. On the Offensive over tough issues or just on the Defensive?

This is all quite mute for me, since I am not a citizen of the country, just a person that lives, works, and pays taxes here so I can’t vote.

My Vote is for Obam-McCai-CircusDude

I have been getting severe headaches, as in seeing stars and profusely sweating for no real reason. My Doctor is determined it is only my high blood pressure, but if that were the case I’d have them more often and not when on my meds.

I would like some other options to take to him. I’ve tried WebMD’s symptom checker and it wasn’t to helpful.

Chastity belts for the male masses don’t exist. That is my conclusion.

I have not been having any luck finding one that works for me. So far I have tried the CB-2000, CB-3000 and two metal belts.

Based on my physical shape I have no security on the CB-X000 devices, I can pull out from them and have no reason to think that any of the others might work better because, if my dick goes through the ring it will come back out, so no security there.

The metal belts just don’t seem to fit me, I got a neosteel belt, that one was increadibly well built and sturdy, and it didn’t fit me right. I put this down to bad measurements. (I won’t even get into the scar I have on my dick where a small burr on the tube cut me tho)

So I ordered a belt by an American guy, drove to see him to be “Custom fitted”. When the belt came it was all wrong, it wasn’t symmetrical and it was too big, so I sent it back and had it adjusted. While this belt fits me now (correct waist and crotch) the tube doesn’t work for me, I can pull out of it. I built a new tube from Home Depot that fits much better but I still get crushed balls.

I started this post because last night we had plans, I left the key at work, put the belt on at home, started a fun evening in only to be met with eye watering pain. I had to defrost the emergency key that was in the block of ice and any sort of messing around for the evening was done.

I’m sure there are people out there who have had success with various devices, I think it is all to do with their particular body shapes and their tolerance for pain from the belt, but none of them seem to work for me.

It has been suggested that I get pierced. While we have considered that for other things, this isn’t the time to do that and quite frankly I am so scared of needles the act would probably make me pass out.

The latest consideration is a Carrara belt, but they are another $800. This has been a very disappointing experience and I hate to throw good money after bad. I just want to find something that works.

Perhaps someone has come up with a design I can build myself and tweak but that illudes me too.

So the effective male chastity belt is just a myth to me.

I just had my birthday. Another year older, another year wiser as they say.

But I have to say I feel like it is another year older, another year more pessimistic, languid, disillusioned with the world.

On my actual birthday I did nothing special with my wife or family. At work my employees did a little birthday lunch. I was so mad at the guy that told them when my birthday was because I hate that sort of thing. Work is work, I am polite and sociable with the people that work with me but I had sitting down and making small talk with them. He knew that and did it anyway, so that put a crimp in the birthday day.

Over the weekend I went out Kayaking. I was with a group of people that had all signed up online at meetup.com. I found myself not wanting to be anywhere near them though, I just wanted to be on my own, small talk just irritated me.

I think I am reaching a point in my life that I don’t like other people. I find myself making excuses to not attend social gatherings or even to talk to people on the phone. When I talk to people they either want something or just want to talk about themselves, neither of those make for a nice time.

I wonder sometimes if I should maybe see a shrink, but I am a smart person, I find myself thinking through my problems, and possible solutions and thinking that, if I didn’t get myself into the problem (or didn’t let people get me into them) then there wouldn’t be a problem and I could continue my private, hermit like, existence.

The other possibility is that I might just turn into a psychotic maniac and blow something up, but since I have no cause or beef with anyone that is somewhat unlikely

I get the impression that I am to old to be fooling around with the twenty somethings, and I too young to be taking life seriously like fifty somethings. Right around now most guys would be being fatherly, but since that isn’t possible I am stuck in limbo.

If I were to win the lottery I think I would make a pretty good stab at becoming a hermit

Does it?

I think the religion on the whole breeds less tolerance, but I’m not sure it really is the cause of wars, people naturally seem to want conflict and religion is just a natural cause.

Anything that you can unconditionally believe in as an absolute truth is asking for trouble. Especially when there are other people that unconditionally believe in their absolute truth that is contradictory to yours.

As a defiant atheist I find it hard to comprehend the concept of unconditionally belief, especially in a way that would make me violent enough to fight my neighbour.

Most religions in my limited opinion teach of tolerance and of peacefulness, but from the dawn of time those concepts seem to have been ignored when it comes to actual disagreements on the religion itself.

From the bible, “Thou shalt not kill”, from the Qur’an “And do not take any human being’s life – that God willed to be sacred”. Unfortunately my lack of familiarity with other religions means I do not have quotes, but most religions seem to follow this premise.

So why, with these very basic concepts is the world determined to kill each other?

Is it religion or is religion just an excuse for violent people to be more violent?

This brings me to my second point. Why do people feel that being religious, or in this area, attending church, make them immune from basic human courtesy?

I see so many people on a day to day basis that would sooner tread on a fallen person than offer them a hand up, but decide they are good people because they went to the church service on Sunday.

At least I am not the only person to notice this, http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_east/7497411.stm

I wonder some days whether the various religious leaders should all get together and cancel religion. Make people responsible for their own actions rather than following the teachings, but this would never work.

Some people require the moral compass. Overall (once again from my limited knowledge) these teachings provide a good solid basis as to what is right and what is wrong, what is good and what is bad. But is that moral compass worth all the killing?
